Family

Ruby and I had a great day at my parent's house hanging out with my Mom and Dad, Blake, Ash, and Brody!  Dad and Blake spent the day working on the calves we still have for sale before we took pictures of them later on in the day for the website.  Ruby even got to help take pictures while riding along in the Moby!  We ended up taking over 300 pictures!  Hopefully there are ones that are good enough for Blake's standards!  :)  Check out the website here!

After seeing Brody yesterday and today...I think he is getting used to having Ruby around and is warming up to her a little bit more!  Pretty soon they will be best buds for sure and I can't believe that this time next year Ruby will be just like Brody is now!  It is so exciting and scary to realize how much she is going to be changing and growing in just a little over a year!

Learning

So...Ruby and I have been going, going, going the last few days!  Today we went shopping for a gift for one of my good friend's baby shower so we headed to Greenwood....and it was a great excuse to shop for Little Miss too!!  We got a great gift for Holly and of course some super cute fall clothes for Ruby at Baby's R Us.  Old Navy was having a great baby sale so I made a quick trip to the mall....Ruby did really well, but had a minor melt down so I took her to the lounge in VonMaur...little did I know I had forgotten the formula in the car and had to truck it down the elevator and through the store again.....an infant screaming louder than the piano in a department store is a bit embarassing....guess I will learn my lesson for next time!  I also packed 10 diapers for our little excursion today...and by 8pm we were out while we were at my parent's house and had to go home before it was full again....Maybe next time I'll bring an entire pack! 

So...point is...I'm learning so much every day about how to be a good mom!  One plus...I purchased a Moby Wrap while out today.  It is the best thing ever invented and will surely make my parenting easier!

Our little bundle, Miss Ruby Louise, has been growing like crazy since she was born on August 10th!  Yesterday I was over at my parent's house working on some new jewelry for an art show that my mom and I are going to and I looked over at my mom holding Ruby and realized just how big she had gotten!  She has nearly grown out of her newborn stage!  Luckily I have been taking pictures like crazy so I can always remember how tiny she was!

Of course I had to attach a few of my favorites from her first month with us!

First Blog Ever!!!

Hello hello!

I have been putting this off forever...but here we are! I have never been much of a journal writer, but I feel like all of the great and amazing things happening in our lives right now are worthy of being remembered!

A little bit about us:

Met at a friend's party in July of 2007 and never looked back!

Married on March 14th, 2009.

Gave birth to a beautiful baby girl on August 10th, 2010.
